cool toned color blocking! {EB:EW}

I am definitely into the color blocking trend! Here's how I wore this colorful trend for the July edition of Everybody Everywear! Keeping my ensemble primarily cool-toned, I paired my royal blue denim skinny jeans with a handmade color blocked tank made from two thrifted shirts...and added in my floral DIY clutch (from thrifted fabric)..all this color makes me happy! :) Click on the picture below to check out all the other lovely color-blocking submissions! Happy Thrifted Thursday!

Neon & Neutral {EBEW}

Here's an easy outfit I threw together to run some errands with my husband! The theme for this month's Everybody Everywhere is NEON so I paired this bright, neon cutout tee with some bright bangles! I brought in some neutral shades through my heels and boyfriend style khakis! I'll be back on Thursday with an actual thrifted outfit post, so stay tuned! Happy Tuesday!

EV:EB Nautical

A navy, pleated skirt! My newest addition to my thrifted apparel collection! For Everybody, Everywear's Nautical link up this month I paired the skirt with a striped, ruffle tank, a bright red jacket (altered the fit and added new gold buttons myself), gold accessories, and red lipstick! On a completely different note, my husband left for Tennessee today for a job interview! We're so excited for this opportunity,  but trying not to get our hearts set on this in case it doesn't work out! Hoping and praying! Happy Tuesday!! :)

plenty of pastels

Remember last time when I posted about some pastel pretties I've been admiring? And mentioned that I just might bust out my pastel turquoise fabric and sew something with it? Well, I did! I love how this skirt turned out! I scored this 100% silk fabric for $1.50 a yard!...$1.50 a yard for SILK people!! oh the little things that make me happy! :) I paired my pastel skirt with a blush colored blouse, low-wedge yellow pumps (which are kind of grandma style but I still love them!), and a necklace in varying shades of yellow, cream, and gold! I'm linking this post up on the Everybody Everywear blog for the pastel challenge link up! Check that site out, there are some fashionable bloggers out there! :)
