what I've been sewing lately...

I did a lot of sewing for my baby girl before she arrived - curtains for the nursery, pillow covers, a crib size quilt, the diaper bag - but I finally got around to sewing her an outfit! It's a springy dress that transitions into a blouse when paired with coordinating bloomers as she gets bigger! I am super excited with how it turned out! Now this weather just needs to get with it and warm up so she can wear it! :)

mama & baby style: spring edition

Right now it's snowing here in Texas and I'm dreaming of warmer weather! To cure my cabin fever I did some web-window shopping and put together a few of my favorite spring looks for myself and my little babe! I can't wait to dress her in cute, floral patterns and to sew a few dresses for her this coming spring!

Well, another long absence between my postings on here! What a busy time of year! The holidays came and went (hope yours were swell!) and we welcomed our sweet baby girl into the world on December 13th - already 1 month has gone by! I wanted to share a few photos! :)
