six flags

 This past weekend we spent Saturday morning at six flags over texas. TC is a season pass holder and loves amusement parks of all kinds. It was bring a friend free weekend so I tagged along. Jensen is under three so she gets into the park for free! We got there as soon as the park opened and spent almost two hours there. I am not an amusement park fan because I get severe motion sickness but Jensen on the other hand takes after her daddy! By the end of our morning I had a migraine and upset stomach (even from the kiddie rides!) but I still had a great time! We were able to get a few photos of our day!

Easter Sunday 2016

 Remember when I shared that sweet scalloped spring dress I made for Jensen in this post? Well, here it is in action! She looked adorably sweet on Easter Sunday. She is definitely in a girly girl stage right now as she loves anything that is sparkly, tutu-related, pink or purple, and dresses and skirts of all kinds! She was having fun exploring the flowers and grass at Papa's farm so I just had to get out my camera and snap as many photos as I could!

Easter weekend we took a short trip to Little Rock, AR to TC's Papa's farm. TC's parents were there for the weekend as well and TC's brother Andrew also lives in Little Rock so we got to hang out with him too! The drive to AR was pretty long as we both had to work on Friday and couldn't leave until after 6pm, then there was a huge traffic delay and we ended up not arriving until 2am! Needless to say we were very weary travelers! 

On Saturday we explored the farm, hunted and dyed Easter eggs, went rough-riding on Andrew's Jeep, and then ate catfish that night at a local eatery! Whew, it was a busy and fun day!
